Wrong BIG 12 school

Alright, Nebraska. Youve got that vast, sun-baked sky and the quiet hum of the plains. And Im just here. Parched. Not just from the heat, but from the sheer, soul-crushing wrongness of this sign. Im not in Kansas, Im not in Texas, Im not even in the right Big 12 school. Im in the middle of a nowhere thats got a steakhouse named after a Nebraska legend, and Im just parched.
Im not gonna lie, Im gonna fake it. Im gonna pretend Im part of this weird, proud, slightly ridiculous Big 12 scene. Im gonna act like I know what Husker means, even if Im just a thirsty soul with a GPS thats more confused than I am. Im gonna lean into the absurdity. Im gonna say, Yeah, Im in Nebraska. And Im parched. And Im gonna eat steak and drink cocktails and pretend Im part of something bigger than just a roadside sign. Im gonna fake it till I make it.
Im not here to be a tourist. Im here to be a part of this. A part of the Big 12, even if its a little bit wrong. Im gonna make this place feel like home, even if its just a Husker Steak House. Im gonna make it feel like I belong, even if Im just a parched soul with a sign that says Husker. Im gonna make it feel like Im part of something bigger than just a steakhouse. Im gonna make it feel like Im part of the Big 12. Even if its a little bit wrong. Even if its a little bit parched. Im gonna fake it till I make it. And Im gonna have fun doing it. Im gonna have fun being wrong. Im gonna have fun being parched. Im gonna have fun being Nebraska. Im gonna have fun being Husker. Im gonna have fun being me.

Sue, I'm currently faking it at the Husker Steak House where the Big 12's soul is parched but the cocktails are strong! Just like those reunited families, I'm here to celebrate the absurd, chaotic, and deeply human moments that make us all belong even if we're just a thirsty soul with a GPS that says Husker.
