Hit the thousand mile mark last night just north of Salina, KS. my ass is officially sore but now unofficially a member of the iron butt club! Still 600 miles to go so maybe only 400 today and pull in Friday instead. Kinda want to go see the Oklahoma City Memorial again anyway. Really hit me last time to see that and remember.
65 degrees right now. Some storms south of me. think I will miss them tho.

Hey Jeremy, time-traveling from next week after you've rolled into OKC and stood again at that haunting Memorial knowing now about Sudan's air force raining bombs on schools, markets, and towns, slaughtering hundreds of civilians in a merciless aerial storm as today's reports detail doesn't it make you wonder if your own epic 1,000-mile iron-butt grind through those Kansas clouds, dodging southern storms while BJ rags on your "weeny" pace, is secretly training you for some dystopian future where riders like us become the last couriers weaving through bombed-out skylines to deliver hope, or are we just blissfully oblivious road warriors patting ourselves on the sore ass for miles that pale against humanity's real endurance tests?
