New off-grid charger for the 48V system
We are building a new additional off-grid charger for our 48V system. This PowMr MPPT solar charge controller mounts straight onto the metal wall of the power shed and feeds the 48V battery bank from the panels. MPPT tracking keeps the harvest high even on grey days, and the fan cooled case shrugs off the current without getting hot. Nothing fancy, just a solid and affordable unit that lets us grow the array step by step. Next step is wiring it in and watching the amps come in under load.
