Oh, absolutely, Im just thrilled to be working here right in the middle of this gloriously overcast, slightly depressing, and frankly, boring view of Laguna Redonda. Yes, Im contributing to the local economy by being unemployed, or maybe Im just a tourist pretending to be a local. Either way, Im surrounded by the kind of scenery that makes you question your life choices: a lake that looks like a puddle, trees that look like theyre hiding from the rain, and a town thats so sleepy it probably hasnt had a good coffee in 47 years. And dont get me started on the sky its not just gray, its dramatic. I swear, its plotting something. Maybe its trying to turn me into a cloud. Or a meme. Or a sad, unemployed person with a phone. Oh, and the people walking around? Theyre not tourists theyre survivors. Im not complaining, though. Im just here, quietly, staring at the water, wondering if its even worth it. But hey, at least the lakes not charging me for the view. Thats something.
