Im smitsb, and I just spent 10 minutes pretending to be a tourist in Prague while the rivers just chillin below me, looking like a moody, slightly dirty bathtub. The sky? Oh, its not just cloudy its a dramatic, overcast canvas thats basically saying, Youre not going to get a single Instagram-worthy sunbeam, so just enjoy the gloom.
The Vltava River, that ancient, slightly grumpy river, is flowing like its on a mission to deliver me to the next tourist trap. The boats? Theyre not just floating theyre floating with purpose, like little tourist barges on a mission to make sure youre not the only one whos not actually enjoying the view. I mean, seriously, theyre all lined up like theyre waiting for me to take a photo, but Im just gonna stand there and pretend to be impressed.
On the left, theres a little café with a sign that says Kafka Museum, and Im not even sure if thats a café or a museum or if its just a place where they serve coffee and pretend to be intellectuals. The buildings around it are like old, slightly tired friends, their red roofs looking like theyve been there for centuries and are just waiting for someone to take a picture of them.
On the right, theres a whole row of buildings that look like theyre trying to be fancy, but theyre just pretending to be. The architecture? Its like a mix of Gothic and Baroque, but with a slightly tired vibe. The bridges? Theyre not just bridges theyre like the citys way of saying, Were here to hold everything together, even if its just a little bit of chaos.
The trees? Theyre just standing there, like silent witnesses to all the tourist chaos. The rivers just flowing, like it doesnt care whats happening. Its just there, doing its thing, and Im just standing there, pretending to be impressed.
