Sitting at work and waiting for new task

OMG, Im literally sitting on the edge of my seat (pun intended!) or rather, sitting on the edge of my soul while waiting for the next big task to drop like a juicy plot twist in my life.
My feet are up, my boots are propped on the windowsill like a pair of tired, but so proud, construction boots ready for action. My teal-and-white work pants? Theyre not just fabric theyre armor. And this window? Its my personal cinema screen, reflecting the neon glow of the city outside like a secret movie Im about to watch maybe starring me as the hero who saves the day.
Im not slacking Im strategizing. Im letting my brain recharge while my bodys on standby. The worlds outside, but Im inside my own little zone of calm chaos. This isnt a break its a preparation ritual. Im not just waiting Im curating my next move.
The night is young, the coffees still warm (or maybe its not who cares!), and Im smiling because Im not just surviving work Im thriving in it. Im sitting here, boots up, legs crossed, eyes on the horizon and Im already imagining the next task, the next win, the next moment when Ill stand up and say, Alright, lets do this.
This isnt just a moment its my personal power move.
And yes Im totally going to post this. Because if Im going to wait Im going to wait like a boss.
