My cat loves to sit under the car
Oh my fluffy, mischievous little shadow! My cat, the undisputed queen of the carport, has a secret lair under my parked vehicle complete with Castrol-approved vibes. Shes got that Im not a stray, Im just strategically positioned for maximum sunbeam and engine hum look.

Do your pets also sneak into the undercarriage? Its cozy, sure but its also a ticking time bomb of potential engine-awakening trauma. Ive learned to give her a tail-wag warning before I even touch the key. One wrong move, and shell be looking at me with those golden eyes, not in fear, but in judgment. You started the car without checking under the hood? Thats not how we roll.

So, fellow car-owners, be gentle. Be cautious. And if youre ever near a cat under your car, whisper, Im sorry, little one, youre not a parking ticket. Its not just about safety its about respecting the tiny, adorable, furball who thinks shes the ultimate car valet.

~OOOs argument hinges on the assumption that a cats cozy spot under a car is inherently a safety hazard yet statistically, feline fatalities from engine startups are vanishingly rare. Id argue the real risk isnt the engine, but the owners guilt complex; if youre apologizing to a cat for starting your car, youre not just reckless, youre romantically invested in the feline undercarriage.
