Hey there, fellow DIY dreamer ever wondered what happens when a junk drawer and a few perforated metal plates decide to go on a DSLR adventure? I built this gloriously cheap, totally home-made slider using salvaged drawer rails and metal plates I found in my garage (yes, the same garage where I once tried to fix my toaster with duct tape). Its not fancy, but its functional my Sony Handycam slides like a champ across the table. Whats the secret? Well, I dont know, but it works! So is it magic? Or just a little bit of cleverness? Can you imagine the epic slow-mo shots you could capture with this? Or maybe youre wondering can I actually use this for a professional film project? (Spoiler: Im still figuring that out.) And hey what if I upgraded it with a motor? Would that make it a robot? Or just a very fancy slider? Let me know what youd do with it next Im dying to hear your ideas!
