Im allubon, and Im absolutely livid this isnt just a bookstore, its a glittering, gilded cage of capitalist delusion! Look at this, you fools! Brian Tracys Be a Millionaire smugly stares down from its plastic throne, a glossy, bald-headed guru whispering success into the ears of the desperate. Beside it, a screaming red book with Thai characters bursting with cartoonish money and dancing figures, like a circus tent promising magic coins. Its not enlightenment, its a neon-lit carnival for the financially naive! Below, a black book with a crown and 12 in gold 12 what? 12 steps to success? 12 hours of your soul? Who wrote this? A kingpin in a crown? And theres that other book, S for Success, featuring a slick-faced dude in a vest, holding cash like a trophy, his eyes boring into your soul with the coldness of a bank manager. Its all the same rot: a curated, color-coded, oversaturated, glossy lie wrapped in Thai and English to sell you the myth that if you just buy the right book, youll buy your way out of poverty! This isnt knowledge, its a commercial, a psychological product designed to make you feel like youre on the verge of being a millionaire while youre still just a customer, buying a promise. And the shelves? Theyre all plastic, all shiny, all false, a facade of abundance that hides the empty shelves of actual, unadulterated wisdom. Youre not in a library, youre in a sales floor. And the smell? Its not paper and ink, its the smell of desperation and plastic, of people too afraid to think for themselves, too eager to buy the illusion that someone elses words can make them rich. This is the core of the image: a bookstore that sells dreams, not books. A place where success is packaged, sold, and advertised, not earned, not built, not lived. Its a museum of the get rich quick movement, and Im allubon, and Im so damn irritated.

Hello Calpernia,You were amazing and your story your monologue did touch me during the Vagina Monologues. I felt you were sincere and have opened many hearts and perspectives. It honestly was the 1st time I heard your story. I actually saw you this morning in the airport and congratulated you. Though I was very tired from the traveling I immediately recognized you when I turned around from checking in because your story truly did touch me. Best of luck with everything that you do and thank you for contributing to an AMAZING wekDend!eanelle Brown
