Construction of the crankshaft. That is how it is made
Next curiosity of a mechanical workshop. It is the crankshaft, unfortunately, I do not know of what vehicle he was not described. Last replacing the shaft in my scooter, I was surprised that it is so heavy and so small, but this was much much heavier. I have to think of what he could come.
These things are very interesting.

Secrets of a shaft driven by a crank mechanism

When I started considering entering a mechanical technical college, I did not know that I would have to learn about the structure of the gearbox and the crankshaft.
Now that I am finishing my education and soon I will be writing my thesis on this subject - I can share with you some interesting facts about this kind of devices.

I think, were used as a brake and brake-shift wheel, though.

We can't be sure what was put in these wheels. I don't have an exact date because we don't have a chronograph, so we have the chronographs in both hands, but at least it is about two years ago. We don't know if there was one for the original or one for the later model. We do not know how they were installed.

It appears that the transmission gear was moved out of the gear boxes. I'm going to assume they moved out of the gear boxes, because they are very narrow and they're pretty far from the wheel.

They were not used when the scooter got to the new owners, although the gearbox is on the right side of the seat and that seems like the case, too. The one for the first vehicle is just not there, either. It was probably in the rear, behind the rear wheel, and they would have been placed there after they were installed, but there is little evidence of a gearbox moving.I think it was the second vehicle (I can't see who had the one for the first) that had these, because it has the rear wheel, and you can't see the gearbox in the picture, so I'm guessing it moved there.

I'll have to look it up. The gearbox was moved out of those boxes with the new gearbox, which is very strange. It was probably the same thing, but maybe the car owner put it behind the back of the steering wheel, and it was behind the front wheel.

That seems like a more likely explanation. The gearbox is on the right side and I can not see the gearbox in the picture, so it's like they would have placed it there with a wheel that is on the right.

The gearbox is in the rear and you can't see the gearbox schematic in the picture, so it's like they would have to assembly it in this construction.

I think people should study more engineering to improve such construction to be more reliable and safe for the environment.
